Book.

For my book i wanted to use a model but not as my center focus. I wanted some landscape that my viewer could focus on. I really enjoy shooting at school for the reason that it resembles a park. I was able to find a big enough grass location were my model didn't have to be right in the center so that the image came out nice. I really like how the mountain cuts the sky in a triangular way in the first two images. The Third image is my favorite i like that the models face is turned away but yet you can see her smile. I like how the color of the grass contrast with the navy blue of her shirt. Im looking forward to taking more pictures for my book.

For my location i decided to use an area near the front of the school since i had already used the back of the school for my second period location. I really liked this area as soon as i saw it, but i had never taken pictures there. I like how the tree bark looks like its ripping apart and how the leaves were falling down just on one side. I also like the fact that my model was able to sit on the tree bark. I liked this assignment for the reason that it got me looking and i found many new spots to shoot around the school. I was used to just shooting by the p.e. area but i really liked the new locations i found and i will keep using them and looking for more.

The website images assignment was really fun to do. At first i was thinking of shooting in the studio. But since it is a school website i decided to shoot it in the circle of the sun, SCPA's center. The current website photograph focuses mostly on the musical department. As i was looking through our school website i noticed that all other departments have photographs representing that department but there is none of photography. Yes photography takes those images but there isnt an image with a camera in it. =) therefore i decided to take a photograph of someone using a camera, taking a picture. I had some difficulty trying to angle myself so that the picture would not look weird, but at the end i was satisfied in how my photographs came out.

The new location i found is at the back of S.C.P.A. I really liked my new location for the reason that the colors of the grass were very bright.Thats what first attracted me to this location. I was also able to find a few pretty flowers. I really love the lighting, makes the colors pop out, and i like how they blend with my model's clothing. i like the fact that the day i took the pictures was very windy and cold, but through the pictures the weather looks warm and calm. At the beginning i was having trouble on capturing the clouds on the back, but i was satisfied by how the clouds came out in my photographs. I really liked this beautiful location because it does not seem like it would be in a school, but we are some of the lucky few that have locations with nice area's as the ones in my images.
