Beloved,per.1

I had a whole different idea when i began taking the pictures for the book i read,but when i saw this image i had taken, it seemed perfect to me. In the book Beloved by Toni Morrison, the tree and the color red had a great significance to the characters. That's why i thought this image to be a good representation of the story. i really like how the tree looks all broken and with cracks in the center...just how seth's life started out,and when u look around that it starts to smooth out just like her life. The leaves on the sides look red,but there's still some green ones...representing her past and the clear present. That's why i focused more on the tree and green leaves than the red dry ones. This assignment was really cool because i got to take a picture of anything i thought would represent something as important as someones life story.

Stop motion video reflection,per.1

The stop motion video assignment was very difficult for me because we had to work with other people, and it was really hard to get a say in what was actually going to be done. People automatically took leading rolls without the consent of the whole group, then again nobody said anything about it. :) Our stop motion video wasnt really a group effort therefore our video came out really bad and one can tell not enough time was spent on it.In the future i prefer to work solo...i like being the photographer not the set helper.Overall the assignment taught me who i work best with and who i share similar ideas with.

Senior

The image i took was a chair, and i wanted to emphasize the fact that school is a privilege, and not something that should be taken for granted. This image is really important because it has to do with my seniorX.I wish i could have had a wider range of places that i could shoot to get a worthy seniorx pic,but im happy with what i have so far...its a work in progress. I enjoyed shooting this image because it gave me an idea of what i want to do for my other pictures and how i can work and incorporate all my images as one.

Alter Ego. period 2

For my alter ego i decided to be punk. I used the black background and a chair as a prop. I enjoyed this assignment because i got to be in the picture but i still got to choose how and where the image would be taken. The process of editing pictures in photoshop is always fun, and i always learn something new. Although the assignment was fun i really prefer actually taking the pictures myself . =] I wasn't really inspired to fix or edit this image.
